I have thick, coarse, mixed race, curly hair that takes 2 days to dry thoroughly. I hate the feeling of wet hair on my skin, and hate a wet shirt, and I also do not like blow drying as it tends to cause frizz. This towel is a game changer. I put the products in with my hair sopping wet, scrunch, plop into the towel, and leave for about 20 minutes. When I take my hair out it is curly, and just dry enough on the outer layers that I can let air dry the rest of the wat without my shirt getting soaked. My curls come out defined and not frizzy. I want to emphasize that I plop my hair and scrunch it up, piling it on the top of my head. I do not twist my hair up in the towel. This is my second towel and I am very pleased. I tried to sleep in it and it was a bit too much with my mountain of hair but will buy a satin only towel for sleeping.

Great product to dry my fully grey, natural curly hair.
Definitely absorbs a lot of water & helps my hair dry faster (not instant, though—it's still damp after I take it off). Maybe more importantly, it's gorgeous! And it keeps my hair out of reach of my toddler when I'm fresh out of the shower.
